Field

Description

Batch #

Enter the batch # you wish to work on or enter 'A' to add a new batch.  If E is entered then End Program and print Check Register.

Date

If you are adding a new batch then enter the Date,

Bank #

The Bank Account that this batch will be deposited into.

Tape total

The Tape total calculated on an adding machine which will be compared to the total of the receipts for this batch.

Sequence

The sequence of this receipt in this batch.  CR. Enter 'CR' and the next sequence # for this batch  will be assigne.  Then go to ask customer number #. Enter a sequence # to edit any previously entered check that Check's information will be displayed and Check # or amount may be changed. T. Enter 'T' to change the previously entered Tape total. V

Customer #

Customer the money was received from.  If the account number is not know then enter a 'CR' to perform a partial customer name search. You may enter the Customer's Name and any matches on that name will be displayed and the proper customer may be chosen.

Check#

Check #  if any.  This number will appear on the check register and will appear in the Accounts Receivable open item record.  It would then be available on AR items screen displays and the customer statement.

Amount

Enter the amount of cash received

AR/C

You would enter C it this would be money that is not received to pay an open Accounts Receivable item but is part of the deposit.

OK?

Y if the transaction is OK and the transaction will be recorded.  The new number of checks and checks and cash totals will display at the top of the screen.Enter an N or an E to cancel the transaction and go back to the sequence #
