The memo-type should be entered at 'Type'. This should be SA-Sales, CM-Credit Memo, CR-Credit Return or any other code you might devise. This field will default to 'SA'.
The customer's Purchase Number would be entered at 'Cust PO #'. If this customer is designated as 'PO required' in the customer record then this field cannot be bypassed without an entry.
The Invoice number will be assigned by the program at 'Invoice #'.
The date of this memo should be entered. This will default to todays date and then to the last date entered.
The code for the salesman for this memo should be entered at 'Salesman'. This will default to the one from the customer record.
If this was a Credit Memo or Credit Return that the Invoice number being referenced by this memo should be entered at the field called 'Reference #'. Otherwise this field will be bypassed.
The terms code for this memo should be entered. This will default from the customer file. Cash sales will not need terms.
