The command is only supported under UNIX (Linux, etc.) when client is ATE.

ATE

Type of ATE Support

Automatic: the XCALL detects the presence of ATE and automatically forwards the command to ATE for local execution on the PC. No: ATE is not supported, i.e. the function is executed in the server environment even though it might be sensible or desirable if it did forward the command to ATE.
