Is there any way to determine inside a-shell wich version of windows is running ?

My need is because, we've implemented A-Shell/Fax but it only works under W2000 or XP, and when the user choose fax as destination, i must decide if the program goes to the Windows Fax Wizard or directly to the FAX: device.

There is a new MIAMEX function (106) to retrieve the OS version info in A-Shell 4.7(803)(which is now available on the a-shell.net beta page). The function works for all operating systems, not just Windows, although the format of the information returned varies from system to system. See the notes in UPDATE47.TXT for further details. (Also see the new MIAMEX.BAS program in [7,376] which contains an example of using it.)
