A customer running on Ashell/Linux has reported this morning they are unable to expand a file due to not enough contiguous blocks. Following old documentation they were shocked to find that Ashell has no DSKPAK command!!, anyway they then thought DSKANA could solve the issue returning a few blocks but shock horror there is no DSKANA command either! is this something that can be implemented into Ashell this morning?? eek eek eek  smile

April Fools??!

If not how many blocks are they needing? If using "span'blocks" feature on the open i think logistically there is no limit, but perhaps the drive needs to be reallocated under linux to provide more room?

Wow, glad I was slow to see this or I might have spent all morning writing a DSKPAK!

Then again, how long could it take to write...

Code
program DSKPAK,1.0(100)
? "Process complete!"
end
