ZTERM is confirmed to work fine with Windows 8, and to work exactly--as far as we can tell--as it does with Windows 7.

This includes the licensing and registration steps, repeated here:

1. Install ZTERM as you would install any PC program; no special steps required.

2. When it comes times to enter the ZTERM license code, you must run ZTERM "As Administrator." This is normally done by RIGHT-clicking on the program's icon, instead of the normal left double-click.

3. Make sure you do NOT check the "confirm license with server" box on the license screen.

Please see the topic in this forum called "ZTERM w/ Windows 7?" for more information.

Actually, there is one new problem that has surfaced with Windows 8 - for unknown reasons, file transfers to mapped network drives do not seem to work. The workaround is to use the UNC spec for the network drive, which does seem to work.
