Hi All...
An interesting one that maybe someone can shine some light on with this weird anomaly...

This Under Linux/Ashell and ATE (Windows/Ashell work fine, no issues)
Linix/Ashell 6.5.1664.4 and ATE 6.5.1668.3 (other flavors i've tried seam to do the same..)

We have a program say OEDESK and this then spawns another program called PCKLST (Spawn as in XCALL HOSTEX,"$ASHELL -e -q run PCKLST)
So now the OEDESK program state (job:TSKAAA) has kind of hibernated with PCKLST (on a new job TSKAAB) is running..

With me so far?..

Now if I display an XTREE thats fine, but as soon as I try to do something with in the data-grid I get the equivalent of Error 69 - ATE comm breakdown, client unresponsive..

I do this kind of thing in a lot of different places and im pretty sure (not 100%) sure ive displayed a XTREE in the child/spawned process before with no issues...
but in this one case, and easy emulated it happens every-time...

Looking at Traces/and lots XTREE is return 67108864 as the row...?!?

Code
25-Nov-19 16:01:30 [p33116-3]<PCKLST:0x5ffc3> Bad subscript: ecount=1, nosubs=1, subscript=67108864, extent=13, vartyp=80c1, infla

A full ashell trace log with ATE and XTREE debugging turn on can be found here.

Screen Shot can be found here.

Any Initial Thoughts? Otherwise I can come up with and supply a test program...

Sorry I forgot to say if I RUN PCKLST normally (not spawned) it works perfectly fine.
