Good Friday -

Quick question, i would like to deploy ATE 6.5.1672.0, but it will take a while to upgrade ashell on our servers. Is this flavor of ATE compatible with Ashell 6.4 if a new user grabs the new ATE before we update Ashell?

I think yes, but want to make sure.

TIA

Yes. As far as I know, and certainly it is the intent by design, ATE and A-Shell server versions should be cross-compatible in both directions. Occasionally there is a feature of fix that requires updates on both sides in order to take advantage of it, but updating only one side of the other shouldn't set you back in any way.

On a related aside, SYSTAT/ATE will display the ATE versions of all the connected clients.
