I just updated from 1716.1 to 1716.7 and I'm now having trouble with the command file I use to compile all programs. It gives me an xcall error message screen and i choose abort. If you get a chance, try running my comall command file I think you have. I can compile individual programs without a problem. It seems to be that the command file no longer works under this version.

Hmmm...., that is a bit strange. The good news is that the problem disappears in a newer version. I tried it with ash-6.5.1717.2-w32-upd.zip and it seems to work as expected. 1716.7 was in the middle of a flurry of tinkering related to some bugs discussed (at length!) in this thread, so it isn't too shocking that there were oddities.

So perhaps an update is the best solution.

The update did the job. Thanks Jack.
