File I/O refinement:Random file READ operations now recognize records in a final partial block of the file, even if the file was not opened with the SPAN'BLOCKS option. Previously an attempt to read such a record—without SPAN'BLOCKS—would have generated an illegal record number. This allows for the AUTOX_RAN option (record-by-record auto file expansion) to work without requiring SPAN'BLOCKS. |
