# Configuration

This section and the two following, [System Parameters](system_parameters.md) and [Printer Configuration](printer_configuration.md), serve as references to the configuration files and settings which are critical to successful operation of A-Shell. You should browse through this material, immediately before or after installing A-Shell, to get a sense of what kind of options exist. Later, you will probably use this as a reference document to get precise details on specific system parameters that you want to change.
