# AG\_MENU

**tab(-10, AG\_MENU) opcode, mdfspec, mstate, mstatus \{,dlgid\}; chr(127);**

This function has both a [subroutine and a print tab implementation](subroutine-print-pairs.htm.md).

AG\_MENU (21) is the equivalent of the [AUI\_MENU](aui_menu.htm.md)[xs](keyword-types.htm.md) calls. It is used internally for forwarding those functions from A-Shell/Unix to ATE, although it also can be used directly with an application to add or delete menu items. It also may be used to invoke built-in menu commands, using this format:

**tab(-10, AG\_MENU); id; chr(127);**

Where _id_ is the value corresponding to the menu command, from the following list:
