# AGF\_NOSTATUS

AGF\_NOSTATUS may be set to disable the return of _cstatus_ information from AUI\_CONTROL CTLOP\_ADD operations. This may be useful in programs which contain many individual AUI\_CONTROL calls but where you don't care about the return status (and don't need to reference the control IDs, or are using alphanumeric IDs). This is equivalent to specifying NUL\_CSTATUS (or "") for the _cstatus_ parameter in each call, so it is mainly useful when you have a lot of code doesn't take that refinement into account (perhaps because it was originally written for a local Windows environment where there is no performance penalty for returning the status).

Use AUI\_ENVIRONMENT with opcode 1 to set this flag. It remains set for the duration of the session, or until specifically reset.

Note that this is purely a server-side enhancement.
