This switch is nearly the same as [PREVIEW](previewptrini.htm.md)[pq](keyword-types.htm.md), b ut is specifically for the ATE case where you want the PREVIEW option to be ignored on the server and only recognized on the client. Otherwise, activating PREVIEW on the server in a non-GUI environment might give you the text-mode preview, EZTYP. See [APEX](apex.htm.md) for operations.
