XTREE supports three different drag-and-drop scenarios:

•	Drag and drop within a single tree, for item re-ordering. [XTF\_DRAGDROP](xtf_dragdrop2.htm.md).

•	Drag and drop of items between two XTREE controls. See [XTF2\_FILEDROP](xtf2_filedrop.htm.md).

•	Dragging a file from an Explorer or Windows Shell dialog and dropping it on an XTREE control. See [XTF2\_FILEDROP](xtf2_filedrop.htm.md).
