**xcall MIAMEX, MX\_SETHEX, hexon**

MX\_GETHEX (MIAMEX 7) gets, and MX\_SETHEX (MIAMEX 8) sets, the default radix for non-decimal numeric displays. 

**Parameters**

_hexon_  ([Integer](integer.htm.md))  \[in for SET, out for GET\]

If non-zero, mode is hex, else octal.

**Comments**

Mainly this affects functions such as DUMP which display data in either octal or hex format, depending on the current radix. The option can also be displayed and set via the  SET command, i.e. SET OCTAL or SET HEX.
