The employee table is where the store personnel information is entered. Assign each employee a unique employee number. The personnel may have unique cash drawers or they may be shared by more than one person. The PIN number is each person's identification number that only the employee knows. Let them enter their own PIN number. The PIN number is used to verify that a drawer transaction has taken place (for example some transactions are: open, increase, decrease, close). For example, if the store manager decides to decrease the amount of cash in a particular drawer, the employee by entering his PIN number is saying "YES", I agree that the amount was taken out of his drawer.
